Ken Macintyre and Barbara Dobson
A biographical note
Ken Macintyre and Barbara Dobson are semi-retired consultant anthropologists who now live in Toodyay, Western Australia. Between them they have over sixty years of professional anthropological experience.
Their consultancy business Macintyre Dobson and Associates Pty Ltd has been on-going since 1990. Since moving to Toodyay seven years ago Ken and Barb have been primarily involved in investigative research and reconstructive anthropology. A good deal of their research involves sleuthing through early ethno-historical documents and trying to reconstruct a contextual picture of aspects of traditional indigenous life that may otherwise have been lost over time.
